“Let thy Food be thy Medicine and thy Medicine be thy Food.” — Hippocrates
That’s the message from the founding father of modern medicine echoed in the controversial new documentary film ‘Food Matters’ from first-
time Producer-Directors James Colqhuoun and Laurentine ten Bosch.
“With nutritionally-depleted foods, chemical additives and ourtendency to rely upon pharmaceutical drugs to treat what’s wrong with
our malnourished bodies, it’s no wonder that modern society is getting sicker. ‘Food Matters’ sets about uncovering the trillion dollar
worldwide “Sickness Industry” and giving people some scientifically verifiable solutions for curing disease naturally.” – James
And in what promises to be the most contentious idea put forward, the filmmakers have interviewed several world leaders in nutrition and natural healing who claim that not only are we harming our bodies with improper nutrition, but that the right kind of foods, supplements and detoxification can be used to treat chronic illnesses as fatal as terminally diagnosed cancer.
‘Food Matters’ is to be launched globally via the internet using full screen video technology.
The film’s official website can be found at http://www.foodmatters.tv

Many epidemiologists predict that the current youth generation will the first in American history to experience a shorter life span than the one before it. if things don’t change. Even if their lifespan were predicted to be longer, I would say that would be in spite of McDonald’s, not because of it.

@Civilrightstoday1 That’s awesome, you should look into raw food now! I had a similar problem, after finding out info about food chems and all that, I was really upset and scared. Then I watched these two documentaries and my boyfriend and I went raw organic that night lol We were so much happier and felt the results of the switch within 24 hours, it was amazing!

@Civilrightstoday1 …
@Civilrightstoday1 YES! And not overly gross or just a bunch of PETA shock videos either, it’s actually very good information and extremely eye opening! Food Matters was a lot more positive, I like it a lot more. It was a good way to finish out watching Food Inc because after Food Inc you sort of feel like there is nothing left in the world that you can eat, then you see Food Matters

The Health Care …
The Health Care Industry, which is really just about investors milking dying cash cows, DOES NOT want the population to examine the truth behind their “health care reform”.
It’s all about profits and not about health.
Whole foods uncontaminated with chemical toxins is what creates health.
What the politicians and big pharma want is more toxins and more profits.

brilliant, healthy …
brilliant, healthy organic and simple food is not only key for our health and longevity but also for starting a new way of living that we all want now. healthy food can be produced locally, do not need any purchase of chemicals, protects biodiversity, give pleasure and income to the one who produces it, makes people happy, is cheap, and cut drastically medical costs, assurances… someone who is till buying processed foods is or very ignorant or stupid

“Conflicts of …
“Conflicts of interest and biases exist in virtually every field of medicine, particularly those that rely heavily on drugs or devices. It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this commentary which I reached slowly and reluctantly over many decades.
