28 Nov

I’m an international student. I’m interested in making the bachelor in Health/Nutrition . Can somebody give me infos about the job-outlook in the States ?

thanks,
J.Z :-)

The job prospect is not good unless you have a strong network of friends or you know someone who is working in that industry who can guarantee you a job once you graduate. consider studying dietetics after your nutrition degree to improve your chances of employment.

this website gives a good description of what a nutritionists does but i am highly skeptical of the future job prospects figures.

I am an education specialist at a hospital, and we have hired three different people with a similar background. You can work in education at an organization, you can teach at a high school, and you may be able to work for certain types of clinics.

Seeing that 60 percent of Americans, 20 percent of Chinese, and over half of the world’s people are fat, many obese, and in need of a healthy diet, your job prospects are incredibly positive.
