MDs do learn about the value of foods, vitamins etc in relation to the diseases. How too little or too much can cause problems.
They don’t need to learn to cook in order to know vegetables are good for us and why plus how bad too much salt or sugar is for us and why.
You might be glad of a drug with a side effect one day, it could mean the difference between life and death.
MDs in medical school are taught about disease and drugs but not about health or nutrition/We badly need a ch?

Be thankful that medicine and pharmacology are advanced sciences offering life saving, life prolonging, and pain easing treatment for millions of people every year.
