Nutrition & Behavior: A Lecture By Russell Blaylock, MD

21 Nov

In this lecture, Dr. Russell Blaylock explains one of the most important connections between nutrition and our health- how nutrition affects our behavior. Citing a series of important studies, he shows that good nutrition can powerfully enhance our memory, mood, and behavior in a socially desirable way. Like wise he shows us that poor nutrition can lead our youth into a world of violence, crime, depression and suicide. By using an impressive array of studies on both juvenile and adult prisoners, Dr. Blaylock demonstrates these principals and outlines specific measures you can take to protect your children from these detrimental effects. Most importantly, he shows us that it is never too late to make these nutritional changes. You can order this DVD at www.atavistik.com.

    I checked the board …
I checked the board of Neurosurgery and he was listed but he does not continue with Maintenance of Certification, which is needed for board certification, but if no longer practicing I would not expect for him to maintain it.

    drsa76, I would …
drsa76, I would like to know why you think this. If you visit the American Board of Medical Specialties website you will find that Dr. Russell Blaylock is still listed as a board certified neurosurgeon. But please send me (his son) a message if you feel that Dr. Blaylock needs to be made aware of any kind of error regarding his credentials and I’ll see that he gets it.

    I do think Dr. …
I do think Dr. Blaylock maybe onto something. He is not actually board certified as his website states as he has not kept up with Maintenance of Certification. His website does not allow messages to be sent to him so I wasn’t able to contact him about this error.

    vintozwahalen: Very …
vintozwahalen: Very well put. EXACTLY! Now is the time for the West to give serious consideration to the Vedas and the True meaning of Yoga. I have been a Tantric Monk for many years now and never before have I seen clearly see the value of Yoga to all beings. I am not talking about exercises but The Science, Philosophy and Wisdom of the Supreme truth that is YOGA. As Patanjali puts it “YOGA IS THE CONTROL OF THE THOUGHT WAVES IN THE MIND: ONLY THEN DO WE STAND IN OUR OWN TRUE NATURE.”

and he is being completely anecdotal when citing the Columbine tragedy. The fact that their daddies left guns around in MUCH MORE significant. So sugar is bad. And how much money do you want me to pay you to get me to stop eating sugar. I’m not sure I have enough!

    Great video and …
Great video and well put together. This is a great resource for education on nutrition and general health. Going to the source of the problem! People need to really start focusing on what they’re putting into their bodies and why. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. And don’t think that the doctor that is treating you is always right. Make sure that they are taking the time to get to the cause of your condition.

    I agree regarding …
I agree regarding the failing dietary recommendations failing to curtail heart disease. But the doc jumps on the animal fat demonizing bandwagon.GRASS-fed livestock have the richest fat soluble vitamins important in neolithic times, yet we should avoid it now?A big factor in heart disease is vegetable oils. The processed heat treated oils and not the traditionals like olive. Our great grandparents cooked with lard, including raw butter, yet heart disease made up 8% of mortality in the early 1900s.

I have been doing alot of reading and research on the same topics you talk about in your video and have posted my own views on this site. Sugar is our greatest poison today and i am strongly opposed to vaccinations. It’s great to see that this information is getting out there. Keep up the great work and look forward to more videos.
