    Burn more calories …
Burn more calories than you consume and you will lose weight.

They do not consume near as much fast food.

Their food does not have the high amounts of sugar that our food has added to it.

They do not drink soft drinks like Americans do.

They do not consume genetically modified foods.

They do not consumer refined bleached white flour.

They eat much smaller portion sizes.

How can I get rid of unwanted fat by exercising?

Why do French woman or people not get fat with the fat foods they consume?

    4. Psychosomatic illness certainly can stop the body from healing itself. Depression falls under this catagory so yes.

    5. Raw foods are great. They contain enzymes that the body needs to digest properly. It can be expensive, but it is great.

    Hope this answers your questions.

    2. Conditions that are extreme or unresponsive require a different approach. A drug of the mildest nature possible under the care of a doctor is a first step. Next realizing that the drug is a short term solution and searching out what the cause of this problem is. Many methods exist for this.
    3. There is a lot more in play than just genetic factors. There are genetic, biological, chemical, immune, metal, food allergies, and emotional (psychosomatic) factors.

    MachineAmbition to answer your questions.
    1. No nutrition and exercise can not help the body heal all mental health issues. I would say that nutrition and exercise can reduce the severity of nearly all mental health issues. We are spirit, mind, and body. As a nutritionist I focus on the body. There are many methods of dealing with the spirit and mind. I think that drugging the body to numb the mind and spirit is not a long term solution.

    I see you spoke …
I see you spoke about the pharmaceuticals in the water and how they are not able to get rid of them? Ever since I was forced to start drinking chlorinated water back in 1998, I have been looking at a way to completely remove chlorine and in the process I believe I there is a way to safely remove it and pharmaceuticals, and hope to prove it soon.

    Thanks for bringing …
Thanks for bringing attention to the problem of drugs in the water supply – very important. A few q’s: Do you believe nutrition and exercise can help the body heal all mental health issues? What about conditions that are extreme or unresponsive to these interventions? Do you believe genetic factors solely raise the risks of certain problems or that there may be a biological basis to some conditions? Do you think depression may stop the body from healing itself? Also, how do feel about raw foods?

    “Excess body fat” …
“Excess body fat” varies for everyone, there are tendencies (correlations, not causes) across many areas, due to various cultural, habitual, climate-related, and some genetic factors, across gender, ethnicity, and age.
Your body is good at removing bad substances with minimal (but existent)damage, but not good at creating essential nutrients from nothing. Be sure you get enough (protein, vitamins, exercise, sleep) before you worry about getting too much (processed, inorganic, or modified foods).

    I was referring to …
I was referring to male body fat levels, since the presenter is a male. Carrying excess fat isn’t healthy regardless of gender – though the McDonald’s-backed FDA considers overweight to be ‘healthy’. Being fat doesn’t mean you are guaranteed to die soon, but then again, neither does not wearing a seatbelt.

    My point is..There …
My point is..There is things in nature that are FAR worse for you then anything sold by McDonalds..Theres alot of things that arent ‘Natural’ that are perfectly healthy for you..Its not black and white…Nature can be beautiful but can also be very brutal..

    That’s not entirely …
That’s not entirely accurate. Men have a fairly broad healthy range where body fat is concerned. Women (especially young women) need to carry much higher levels of body fat: For instance, roughly 17% bodyfat is considered the trheshold, for instance, for young women to maintain a normal menstrual cycle.

    Within the range of …
Within the range of edible foods. Those in their unprocessed, unmodified, free of chemicals are nearer to what our ancient ancestors bodies were adapted to, which is the point I was trying to get across. When you process food you often denature it, that you creat things not found in nature, therefore your natural ancient body has to react to this, ergo allergies etc

    Elephants and …
Elephants and tortoises seem to do pretty well poachers etc permitting. There are a lot of factors, from one part of the world to another. Generally humans do have social networks and dwellings that give them advantages. However we often get too carried away and forget old wisdom. Example lots of people go everywhere by car to the exclusion of most other means of transport.

    Sources?

Google body fat, and you will find that 10% for guys is “athletic”.

Women who are trying to conceive shouldn’t have less than %19 body fat, but not more than 32%.

This presenter does not appear to be very healthy – indeed this is common among so-called nurses and nutritionists. Over 10% body fat is the health equivalent of never wearing seatbelts whilst driving.

    My friend has “AIDS …
My friend has “AIDS” caused by lymphoma but it is not caused by HIV since he is not infected with that. HIV itself does not kill, its the syndrome that weakens the immune system and people die from something simple like the flu because AIDS prevents the body from fighting the germ away.

    AIDS is a syndrome …
AIDS is a syndrome and not a virus, consisting of previously known diseases that somehow got lumped under the AIDS umbrella-ella. the hiv test is cross-reactive with many conditions including pregnancy and drug use causing false positives, and that is one of the reasons they all have legal disclaimers on them. psychoneuroimmunoloy is a key component with disease progression. the leading cause of death for those diagnosed with AIDS is organ failure due to toxic hiv medications.
