Which do you think is more important for health – exercise or nutrition?

29 Nov

Let’s say you had to pick between exercising or eating healthy (not both) – which would give you the best health.
You’re not going to tell me one is useless without the other – it’s best if you have both but they are to some benefit alone. Come on!

Nutrition would be the choice under those restrictions. Daily activity would be enough to supply your exercise needs with perfect nutrition.

When I must choose only..It’LL BE OF COURSE THE PROPER NUTRITION,BECAUSE IN THE LONG RUN,THE WRONG EATING AND REGIME CAUSES EVEN WORST EFFECTS ON HEALTH THAN THE LACK OF EXCERCISING..THAT IS UNDOUBT TRUTH..

Just avoid fat in the food and walk at least 20-30mins daily. (this is the easy way)

There is no exception for balance betweent the two….but nutrition would probably be more important.
Nutrition in the sense you eat more vegetables than meat, blance it out and don’t eat too much. You’d only have to worry about getting tons of excersize if you ate too much.
Though you realy want a balance between the two.
And fat in the food is not what makes you fat. It is how much you eat and the calories it contains. If you eat mroe calories than you expend daily, your body takes that extra energy and stores it as fat.

If there was a choice, it would have to be exercise. The heart and muscles need exercising and it is not only good for one’s mental health, it’s refreshing and good for the soul too.
Having said that, there are people who have their own style. I knew a man who smoked like a chimney, every single day he ate bread buttered with lard and a boiled egg he had boiled in his kettle. No exercise, yet lived healthily to the ripe old age of 96!
That’s the way to go isn’t it.
I think that proves if you enjoy what you are doing/eating/drinking your body adapts.

-of coarse nutrition. How will your body support the exercise you perform if you don’t watch what you eat?

They are one to be honest, you can’t have either without the other really. If you have too much nutrition and not enough exercise your not healthy.

If you exercise alot and eat junk your not healthy!

I must say proper education is more important is more important than either, if we teach children at an early age there is less likely to be problems with nutrition or exercise. If i have to pick one though it would definately be proper nutrition – (if you are taught properly from the start proper nutrition is a kick starter to the rest of your life. )

Nutrition (healthy eating )means eating as much as you can utilise. If one wants to be sedentary (minimum exercise)one has to eat minimum.Strictly speaking one can not delink food intake ( healthy eating ) from exercise.
