Why I Became a Nutritionist, Austin Nutrition

Be My Friend http://www.myspace.com/psychtruth

Why Nutrition is Important. Austin Nutrition.

Joesph discusses how he became a nutritionist after conventional medicine was unable to solve his health problems. With epidemic obesity rates, a processed & nutrient deficient food supply and medical paradigm obsessed with throwing drugs just cover up symptoms, nutrition is vital to one’s health and wellness.

    The aluminum foil …
The aluminum foil comment is very interesting. I’ve always wondered about the acidic sodas that are stored in cans… doesn’t aluminum contaminate the drink?

    The best diet for …
The best diet for lucid mental health is the paleolithic diet plan. One can do fine consuming pastured eggs (of all kinds) instead of meat products. Organic food is also the best long term plan.

Paleolithic eaters eliminate: grains, milk products, beans (legumes), refined sugars and squashes. Anything artificial is also shunned.

They do eat: meat (or eggs, which I believe is better) fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts.

    I think it’s …
I think it’s interesting how you could be allergic to chocolate & tomatoes all that time and not even know it. I always thought eating foods that you are allergic to would give dramatic allergic reactions. Now I think I might be allergic to some foods I don’t know about. I would be curious to learn more about nutrition response testing. What is it? Thanks for the video! And I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

    I …
    I like that!

I wish I been interested in nutrition earlier. I am very overweight and diagnosed with GERD in March. After a night in hospital they gave me NEXIUM and circled “regular diet”. I knew better. I threw the pills away started an 80% raw diet with lean protein (VERY LITTLE red meat) and some carbs, no sugar (well VERY VERY LITTLE). Since March 9th I’ve lost 19 lbs and have NO GERD symptoms. Thus my new name: VICTORIOUSlooser!I introduced my cousin to psychetruth and she is following 2.

    I am glad Human …
I am glad Human biochemistry is so diverse; I would hate to give up totally “Dark Chocolate” especially since Natalie said it was “OK” in moderation. I am also glad to hear your story and its solutions.
One thing I have adopted as true is that the only insurmountable barriers one can have are ones’ own decision that something is insurmountable; When something seems so, I know I am making it so and then know to reevaluate my consideration.

tasha I am sorry it …
tasha I am sorry it didn’t work for you. There are many forms of it in existence and to be honest I had to research a lot to find one that worked for me. Nutrition Response Testing is what I found worked. Dr. Ulan went back thru the entirety of the subject and refined it. I get great results with it and it for sure helped me. There are about 10% who are not helped by it and if steam inhalation works for you then I recommend steam inhalation therapy.

    And yeah, …
And yeah, anti-biotics are WAY overprescribed. My friend went to a doctor with some vague symptoms and he just threw anti-biotics at him. They made him feel sicker. Sadly, these types of doctors also get paid more than the ones that use their brains. I try to eat better nowadays, especially since I know that my high metabolism probably won’t be around in ten years.

    However much I …
However much I don’t really care for my dad, he’s right about a lot of stuff with nutrition. How nutrition is ignored in the mainstream medical profession is similar to how holistic mental health is ignored in psychiatry. In my psychology textbook, the idea that physical ‘differences’ in the brain might be an effect not a cause got barely a mention, just so they could seem unbiased. Same thing with nutrition, two minutes were devoted to it, but the rest was drugs, just a token mention. Blech
