Quinoa Nutritional Facts

Quinoa has more protein than any other grain, about 16.2%. Rice has about 7.5%, 9.9% for millet and 14% for wheat. Some varieties of quinoa can even contain as much as 20%. 24 grams of protein is 48% of the daily recommended value for both adults and kids under 4 years. What I love about quinoa is that you are getting tons of protein without loading up on fats!

Aside from protein, what other nutritional value can we get from incorporating quinoa into our diet? You get high amounts of potassium, riboflavin, manganese, magnesium, copper, zinc and folic acid.
